Meeting with the Uzbekistan Banking Association

Venue: The Association of Banks in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan

ABM was proud to host the inaugural meeting with representatives from the Uzbekistan Banking Association (UBA) on 25 August 2009. During the meeting which was attended by representatives of ABM member banks, several presentations were made on certain aspects of banking in Malaysia. The General Director of UBA, Mr. S. Abdullaev also gave a presentation on the role of the UBA as well as on the banking industry and economic situation in Uzbekistan. The meeting ended with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ABM and UBA to promote cooperation between the two organizations and their respective member banks.
