Fraud Alert - Bogus calls purportedly from The Association of Banks in Malaysia's hotline

The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) would like to caution members of the public on bogus calls using ABM's hotline number or also known as ABMConnect, 1 300 88 9980. Members of the public are advised to ignore calls from this number and to refrain from giving personal banking information to the caller or anyone under any circumstances. Kindly take note that financial institutions including credit card issuers will never request for personal banking information when contacting customers, be it via telephone calls, SMS or emails.
